A&R: Since the release of Breathing Is Optional, lapdog have played several showcase gigs sparking interest from Food Records and Beverly Hills based Rough World Records, plus various others.

RADIO: The EP has also, allegedly, been aired on XFM. However, only the lucky people in the south will hear it being played due to poor/no reception much further north than Watford Gap.

GIGS: The recent exploits spent firing up and down motorways, sleeping in vans and being in a general state of malnutrition have once more widened lapdog's fanbase which is what a good part of this year will be all about. Amazingly, all the sound engineers were fair grand, especially @ Josephs Well and the Hartlepool Studio. Lack of food and sleep has weakened immune systems and the band are now recovering. The next jaunts in the battered van are now being confirmed. Sunny Blackpool and even sunnier Stirling amongst others await.

PERSONNEL: Chris is thrilled about being compared to Johnny Greenwood of Raidohead, Shaun's got a fabulous pair of new shoes that would look great at a Crown Green Bowls tournament, lee's got "really big muscles" and will only eat ham on a pizza, and Ric is finding, despite what the EP suggests, that Breathing is not Optional thanks to excessive smoking from the rest of the band.
